Why not serach in youtube. There are some usefull video there. If you relatively new to sketchup I recommend watch this video first [link] this video coverup every tool and how to use them to their max funtionality. 

My other recomndation is SketchUcation Forum [link] in this forum there are some very usefull free plungin to help you speed up your work. You can also find many tutoriall there.

I have actually looked at several YouTube tutorials, and I am a member of SketchUcation forum, but rarely visit there unless it's look for a plug-in for a need I have. Thanks for your feedback though, it's much appreciated.

If you do get a new Normandy, I imagine the Normandy SR 2 was either damaged beyond repair, but NOT destroyed, at some point before Mass Effect 3, or maybe a mass relay jump broke the Normandy's back, which was an ending I thought of giving to my interpretation of Mass Effect 3. I never thought of a way to connect the end of ME 2, the start of ME 3, and the end point. What was supposed to happen was the Normandy would jump away from the last Reaper battle through a mass relay, and the ship nearly shakes itself apart. The Normandy then drifts into the Citadel for permanent display as a museum ship.

I wonder how the SR 3 will look on the inside. I know that I may get lost from time to time, like I did on the SR 2 in my first playthrough.
