Black Panther is small fighter ship suitable for mission that require speed and maneuverability. Due the need for light weight and extra maneuverability the ship armor is pretty weak. The type of weapon that can be mounted is limited also.

The basic shape inspired by catamaran.
Engine Inspired by Normandy from Mass Effect Trilogy. two dimensional vector thrust help the ship to maneuver better.

Created using Google SketchUp 8
Rendered in Kerkythea

Interestingly enough, this kind of looks like a Systems Alliance fighter from the Mass Effect series in general as well.

Will you be doing any more in this particular line of ships? Like an air superiority or interceptor variant?

Pretty cool! Looks like there's some Normandy (Mass Effect) similarities. :)
